Class Descriptions
Mixed Level classes are open to absolute beginners, experienced students and teachers. To flow through the traditional practice is possible only if there is an understanding of the fundamental principles of alignment that underlies a posture, the connection between a previous posture and the one that follows. Feeling is the bridge between yoga postures. We will work on moving toward a grounded and natural alignment by taking the time to feel our connection to the earth and to the breath.
Moon Meditation sessions are open to everyone. Meditation brings a clear understanding that everything originates in the mind and with that knowledge one's life takes on a new meaning.
When it comes to meditation practices, the body is as precious as the mind so in this guided class we explore the three arts: the art of sitting, the art of doing nothing and the art of breathing.
Mysore classes are the traditional way to learn yoga. Students practice at their own pace, moving through a series of postures. Whilst it is not a guided class help is given and guidance provided when needed. A basic knowledge of the ashtanga system recommended.
