Saffron robes, turning blood red - Burma is crying
Noble Sangha is dying.
Pink robes, changing blood red – Burma is wounded
None of the nations is daring.
A déjà vu long forgotten.
Lay people embracing what is most loving
Freedom within boundaries is like a bird without wings.
Wake up! Our eyes are drying, our ears are shrinking, our mouths are tightening
Wake up! Our hearts are closing.
Let me wake up and go back home.
